California Residents & Nonresidents Can Complete Their Live-Fire Qualification in Las Vegas

How Does It Work?

The California DOJ Instructor of Record for the US LawShield California CCW eLearning course is Todd Cotta,
An NRA Certified Pistol Instructor located outside California will conduct the live-fire proficiency test for the eLearning student. The out-of-state instructor conducting the live-fire portion does not need to be recognized by the California DOJ because the California DOJ Instructor of Record for the course is Todd Cotta.
This allows eligible students to complete their required live-fire proficiency test right here in Las Vegas at Nevada CCW & Firearm Sales.

  2. Complete the US LawShield California CCW eLearning Course.
    Complete the approved online classroom portion of your California CCW training the link is at the bottom of this page.

  3. Schedule Your Las Vegas Live-Fire Qualification.

  4. Complete Your Firearm Qualification.
    Complete the required live-fire proficiency test with our qualified instructor.

  5. Apply With the Appropriate California Issuing Agency.
    Submit your application and required documentation directly to the California county or issuing agency for which you qualify.
